Interim Pastor Ken Kemp travels to Nepal and India

Ken Kemp and his associate, Pastor Scott Moffatt, will board an Emirates Airline jumbo jet for Dubai on Wednesday, next week.  From there, they travel to Kathmandu, where they will be met by a remarkable Friends missionary who leads a team of church planters in Nepal who are transforming the nation.

From there, Ken and Scott travel to Bangalore, India.  They will meet with twenty others who are part of a movement called Global Freedom.  In partnership with the Dalit Freedom Network, Friends Church in Yorba Linda is building schools for Dalit children all over India.  In addition, a full length feature film called Not Today is in production.  Filmed on location in India, Not Today tells the story of a self-absorbed American, Caden, who meets a young Dalit girl, Annika, and her father on the means streets of an Indian city.  Annika gets caught in the cruel net of human trafficking.  Caden drops everything and becomes obsessed with her rescue.

Ken and the team will visit the children, teachers and community leaders who are building schools in several cities.  He returns to the United States on October 27th.
